The Easy Rainy Day Option

The rain seems here to stay for a couple of days...and if your anything like me, I get totally thrown with what to wear. So I have popped some photos on for some inspiration of simple comfy things you can wear in this rainy weather.

Jeans and shirts are so basic but you can always layer them up with over sized cardi's and blazers to make them look that little bit more stylish. Big comfy dresses and scarfs are also so easy in miserable weather. Just add boots and stockings for a warmer option when the chill of winter sets in.

Thoughts

I hope mothers day was everything you hoped it would be. For me that was spending time with my husband, little boy Charlie and family.

On another note Ive come up with some thoughts for you to keep in mind whilst shopping for your winter wardrobe...
Try and keep it simple. Buy bits and pieces that you can layer up. Stocking and leggings are a must for this season. Some other main pieces needed for your wardrobe... a blazzer or cute button up jacket, lots of warm scarfs, button up shirts, short skirts or short shorts (however if you legs arent your best asset stick to long tops/dresses and leggings or jeans). Short skirts and shorts can be worn with stockings under them to keep you warm.

Remember dress for your body shape, not for the latest trend, unless of course it looks great on you.

Shoes seem to be this years statement piece. Wedge shoes and plain leather boots look great with almost everything.
