Pregnancy Diary // 19 Weeks

19 Weeks along and its an exciting week. We get to see our little one. Its becoming more real now. With a little tummy and plenty of movement the pregnancy is finally feeling real.

I've just had the best week. A week away with my parents and sister (who is now due in only 4 weeks). We went to Milton were they are building a cottage, its absolutely beautiful. Hanny and I concluded that we haven't eaten so much since as long as we can remember. So after doing no exercise and eating uncontrollably I'm not feeling my best. Next week I'll be back into the walking and healthy eating.

19 Weeks
Feeling: So much better
Exercise: Nothing at all!! Oh dear
Weight Gain: 4kg (its creeping up)
Body Change: An extra kilo in a week says it all. I look well rested and "healthy" as polite people might say.

Fashion
This weeks outfit is a cute little floral dress I picked up on a sale rack. The floral pattern is so cute and combined with this croqueted little white top its perfect for this in-between weather.

Pregnancy Diary // 18 Weeks

18 Weeks along and I'm almost halfway. I'm definitely looking pregnant now which is so nice. I've had the best week, although it has been busy. Feeling so much better, getting out in the fresh air, catching up with girlfriends and very pregnant sister (Hanny), and forgetting things I usually never would. So I've realised my diary is my best friend, no more forgetting to write things down.

18 Weeks

Feeling: So much better, lots of energy
Exercise: only 2 walks (whoops)
Weight gained to date: 3kg
Body Changes: With my newly popped belly there is no mistaking my pregnancy (woohoo)

Fashion

What a funny week weather wise it has been. Starting nice and warm and ending with all that rain. So this weeks outfit was perfect for rainy days. All Black. So comfy and alittle bit warm ensuring coziness. Love it.

Winter 2011 // Whats Hot in Jackets

There is so much to look forward to when it comes to jackets this winter.

We have so many different fabrics and textures such as leather, fur, velvet and wool. I love these pics, although plain, these beautiful jackets will get you inspired. Note the cape in there... I'll make sure I write a blog on the cape because they are going to be a love for many.

When trying on jackets be sure to remember that you need enough space for your long sleeve tops, blouses and extra layers.

TIP: I like mine slightly bigger ladies so I can get into the layered look.

Pregnancy Diary // 17 Weeks

What a wonderful week I've had. Still on a high from the Hawkes wedding we made the drive up to Coffs to spend some time with my best friend Mel and her hubby Josh. It has been such a blessing. We are staying right on the beach in the most beautiful home, and it has been the most restful, relaxing time. And just to top off a fantastic week I am finally feeling so much better.

17 Weeks

Feeling: Pretty much better now, with the slightest reflux (but that is nothing in comparison to vomiting).
Exercise: well due to holidaying only one big walk...next week I'll get back into it
Weight Gain to Date: 3kg
Body Changes: My tummy if finally getting a nice rounded look (almost look pregnant woohoo)

Fashion

As I'm really starting to pop now I'm moving from big and baggy everything to some more fitted outfits. I find that in this transition period fitted can sometimes look better, that way you dont just look like you've eaten too much and your trying to hide it.

So for a day at home I enjoy wearing stretchy comfy outfits. This long top is great teamed with a little black dress for easy movement and comfort.

Pregnancy Diary // 16 Weeks

This is a catchup as I missed last weeks, so enjoy the double post this week. 16 weeks along and I'm finally turning a corner. Feeling much better which is such a relief. I've been doing lots of day sleeps and resting, but also having the energy to get out and about without feeling too sick. Such a blessing.

16 Weeks

Feeling: haven't vomited and feel like I'm getting better
Exercise: 4 walks
Weight Gain to date: 2.5 kg
Body Change: same as last week

Fashion at 16 Weeks - The Wedding

Aims and Scotty's Wedding was amazing, and it went off without a hitch (even though the clouds and rain in the morning kept us checking for blue sky). The day cleared up and only drizzled once or twice which was such a blessing. Aims looked absolutely amazing, so glamorous and hot (not hard for her). Here's a great photo of all the bridesmaids with the gorgeous bride. What a fun day and night it was. All the best to the beautiful Hawkes couple.

Winter 2011// Leather Pants

The chill of winter is just around the corner. I'll be bringing you updates over the next couple of weeks with all that winter has to offer you this season.

You may have noticed all the leather embellishing leggings, tops and jackets. Here are some leather pant outfits which I love. I hope you get inspired.

Pregnancy Diary // 15 Weeks

The weeks are passing by nicely...and I'm getting very excited for a beautiful girlfriend, Amy's, upcoming wedding. I can't wait to bring you my post next week. 16 weeks pregnant and I feel so honoured to be one of her bridesmaids....cant wait.

Week 15

Feeling: been really tired, so resting up. Still vomiting (must come to an end soon)
Exercise: 1 walk and 1 pool walk (had a week of rest)
Pregnancy Weight to date: 2kg
Body Change: tummy looks the same, but the handle bars are coming along nicely.

Still resting alot. Day sleeps and early nights have been helping with the morning sickness.

Fashion at 15 Weeks

At 15 weeks the fashion inspiration has run a little low. Ive had a week of resting, only going out when I had too. So this weeks outfit of a black leather skirt and shirt was on an out days. Otherwise you would have caught me in oversized tshirt dresses for most of the week.

Something Leather

I love this leather skirt, but I have limited time left to get wear out of it with my ever expanding belly. Team it up with a light weight, white shirt and some wedges and your ready to go.

How To // Maxi Skirt

So mumma's we are all familiar with the maxi dress which has been around for the past couple of seasons and more recently the maxi skirt that has made a come back in the past year or two.

I've always found it hard to pull off a maxi, especially a fitted one. Being short and curvy means pulling off a fitted maxi is hard. But the most beautiful flowy maxi skirts are filling the racks in the stores for winter. Soft, flowy, pleated and feminine, your going to love them. Beige's and other soft tones are my favorites.

So how do you wear the maxi skirt well. I've popped up afew pics from our European friends, they have all done the maxi beautifully.

The maxi looks great with a tucked in fitted or loose fit singlet or tee. Or wear on your hips with a comfy-fit jumper, perfect for those cooler Autumn days. Heals will offset your outfit perfectly, especially if you are shorter like myself (helps give the height you don't naturally have).
