Spring Fashion 2010... Get Organised

With spring/summer fashion already hitting the shelves now is the time to start working out what trends and styles are for you...

Spring summer shoes are supper cute and include the clog heel (my favorite look), peep toe wedge, the leather gladiator is lingering (but heading out) and the trusty ankle boot. As far as your threads are concerned high waisted seems to be sticking around (NOTE: this look is not for everyone so don't be tempted to wear it if you know it doesn't suit you) cute tailed short shorts and pants, lots of floral, the spring blazer, and the baggy tee and singlet remain your basic. Little button-up shirts and blouses, and cute crochet dresses and vests are also injected in there for feminine fun.

STYLE TIP: Don't buy it if it doesn't give you the WOW factor or doesn't suit your figure... its a basic rule that will stop you from purchasing those items you wont wear.

Layer Right

After spending a couple of cozy days down in Melbourne the word 'layer' took on a whole new meaning. Melbournites seem to get the layered look so right...they stay warm and look great at the same time. Here are a few pics of how to pull off the layered look without looking like the michelin man.

Keep a thin leg look by wearing single layer (stockings, jeans or leather leggings) and socks or boots on the bottom. Layer up your top with cute dresses, blazers, jackets, cardis, scarfs or just one large over sized bulk jacket. Keep it cozy mummas.

Pregnancy The Nicole Richie Way

How do you do pregnancy? It can be hard to be inspired fashion wise when you are steadily growing in the belly (and in those other unwanted areas). Pregnancy Richie Inspired appears so glamorous, however take a closer look and you'll see she uses the simple things to get her effortless hot looks.

Nicole shopping list for pregnant women:

* Simple white/black long (in the torso) tees (buy one to two sizes larger than usual)
* Pair of hot maternity jeans (or low cut - so your belly can fit over the top) stretch jeans (more comfy)
* Black leggings or stockings with stretch skirt over
* Cute coloured scarfs
* Large over sized cardi's and vests
* Little black dress (stretchy tshirt fabric is best - acouple of sizes bigger for growth)
* Maxi dresses (plan dresses can be worn more, just add different accessories to change your outfit)
* cute simple shoes and thongs (nothing pregnant about them) or just add a pair of heals to add some glamor)

I hope this gives you some inspiration for your pregnant months. Oh and one last little tip... remember a new hair cut or some makeup will make you look and feel a million dollars. Be Inspired Mummas!
