Pear And The Pole

I've been waiting ages to share my excited news with you....

I am going to be launching an online women's apparel store in September this year. It will stock affordable woman's fashion, and each piece will be hand picked by myself (picking nothing but the best and most stylish threads for you and your body shapes). I promise I won't disappoint you.

Till September's launch I will be blogging at  www.pearandthepole.blogspot.com and bringing you the latest trends for winter 2012. We have our very own beautiful model Milijana who will be showing you exactly how to wear this winters fashion.

I would love your support. If you could follow us we would be so stoked. I'll put the links in for our facebook and blog below.

You'll Love // Jonah And The Girl

I'm back and I have something that those with mini's will just love.

I'm so fussy when it comes to dressing my little people. I like simple, classic items that are cute. So I'm desperate to share Jonah and the Girl with you.

One of my gorgeous girlfriends was the mastermind behind this baby. I'm so lucky to have the most talented, creative people in my life, and Aims is exactly that (plus the most beautiful friend a girl could want). Amy along with her hubby Scotty (also the geniuses behind The Horse) launched their newest baby Jonah and the Girl ('amazing kicks for your kiddies'). These gorgeous canvas kids shoes are just amazing. Great colours, quality, and super cute.

Charlie has a pair of Bertie's in Denim Blue. I'm totally in love and so is he.

Get your little loves some here... Jonah and The Girl

Time For A Break

I'm off on holidays for the next 3 weeks. I wont be writing any posts. In fact sorry for being so slack so far this year. I have had my hands full with the move.

I will be back and inspired after my break and look forward to bringing you something fun and new in March.

Happy February hotties.

I'm off for a farm and beach break....

2012 // Year of the 'Content Mumma'

2012 will be a big year for our little family. So much change, and so many things to look forward to.

To begin the year we will be packing up and moving houses. In fact we are out this Friday. We hope to settle into our new home by the end of March after having 3 weeks holidays and a short stay at the in laws house.

Once we have settle I have afew projects that I plan to start up and work on (very exciting). I cant wait to start working on it so I can share it with you all (keep your eyes out). And then lastly I turn 30 (ahhhhh...I'm telling myself that its the new 20). To celebrate we are heading on a holiday for two weeks to Bali (so excited...just think massages, pedicures, cocktails, pool, sun, swimming, magazines and as a whole hopefully a relaxing holiday).

So with a busy year ahead and most likely alot of ups and possibly some downs too (as life goes) I have come up with my new years resolution. Feel free to join me in the challenge of.... "Being content regardless of the situation". I've already been hugely challenged on this. Especially with the stress of moving homes with two dependent youngsters. Good luck to me hey.

I'm looking forward to enjoying (and being content) with quiet days at home, teaching and loving my mini's, catching up with those important to me, rejoicing with my talented friends over the success of their businesses, slowly renovating our new house (and being content when I have to wait for the renos), to being encouraged and giving encouragement.... In fact I look forward to 2012 and whatever it brings.

Bring on 2012 oxo

Post Baby Diary // 16 Weeks On (old post)

I've been a shocker... this post is now 3 weeks old. Sorry for my delay.

This is the last post baby diary post. I've reached my goal weight, settled into motherhood with two and now feel the need to get back to fashion posts, but after we move houses (I will be having afew months off the blog until I feel settled).

I was surprised the week before Christmas with this amazing gift from my sweet sister in-law. She has compiled all my baby-diary blog posts into an album for me. With all the pictures and updates included. It was the most thoughtful, wonderful gift to receive. I had thought that I should print it up for my childrens future reference but to receive it all beautifully scrapbooked (but yet not too crafty - she's so onto my taste). So much hard work went into it and I just wanted to share the first page with you. Thanks so much Kayleen (if your reading this). I was so surprised and absolutely love it.

Post Baby Diary // 15 Weeks On

My little Gracie is almost 4 months old (well a week shy) and next week will be my last post till February. I'm having the rest of the month off and also January.

Gracie has been such a wonderful little blessing to us (and of course so is Charlie). She has been sleeping through for the past week, and was a great sleeper from about 6 weeks. So I've been feeling so much better. I wish I could say that I'm this amazing routinest or that I had any part to play in it but I don't. Gracie is just one of those supper chilled out kids who decided that she wanted her sleep from a young age...BLESS this little one. As for my little man Charlie, we used to party through the night till he was about 10 months, which was fine because it was just a season. But God is good.

More good news. I gave myself those few weeks off and am finally back (or just below) my pre-Charlie weight, which is encouraging. After having Charlie I went below my normal weight (so to reach this I have 3 1/2kgs to go) so hopefully the same will happen with Gracie (breastfeeding is the best). I haven't had much time to exercise but am hoping to get into it more over the next few weeks as social stuff settles down.

Fashion
So this outfit has definately appeared before... just in different combinations. But with the weather being so strange I've had to pull out some of my winter things and get creative again.
